This March, we’re proud to support Hope of the Valley’s Women of Hope Afternoon Tea event, a fundraiser dedicated to building a new Women’s Shelter that will provide safety, resources, and a fresh start for women in need.
On March 8th, we had the incredible honor of attending the Women of Hope Afternoon Tea, hosted by Hope of the Valley—an event filled with strength, beauty, and powerful stories from women who have overcome tremendous challenges.
Set in a warm, welcoming space with thoughtful details and meaningful conversation, the afternoon wasn’t just a gathering—it was a celebration of resilience, recovery, and renewed possibility. We listened as women shared their journeys, speaking openly about their battles with homelessness, addiction, and hardship. Each story was different, yet all were bound by a common thread—the need for a safe place to heal and the power of being seen and supported.
The room was filled with purpose. Tables lined with elegant place settings, the scent of fresh tea and florals in the air, and a community unified by a single cause: to raise funds and awareness for the soon-to-be Women’s Shelter—a space where women in crisis can access safety, stability, and support. As a brand deeply rooted in healing and intentional living, Casa Negra Collection was proud to be present and to give back. Our luxury candles were created to hold space for moments like these—spaces that nurture, comfort, and uplift.
