Caring for your Casa Negra candles
How to Extinguish our candles
For optimal performance, burn your candle for no more than three hours at a time to prevent overheating. We recommend
using a snuffer to extinguish the flame, minimizing smoke and wax splatter. Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch and centered to
ensure an even burn and always clear the surface of any debris or dust before lighting.
Scent Throw
For a softer fragrance experience, allow air to circulate by opening windows or doors; for a more concentrated scent, burn
candles in smaller, enclosed spaces. Keep candles away from direct light or sunlight, as exposure may affect wax color and
fragrance integrity. When burning multiple candles, space them at least three inches apart to prevent overheating and protect
the vessels.
Best Practices
First Burn
Allow the wax to melt completely across the surface on the first burn to prevent tunneling.
Wick Trimming
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each lighting for a clean, even burn.
Burn Time
Limit burning to 3-hour intervals to maintain optimal performance and vessel integrity.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and wax quality.
